In double-column format on 8 by 11 inch pages, the Handbook reprints portions of old and new Title 46 (completed in 2006) and other Titles (28 and 49), U.S-ratified international conventions (e.g., COGSA, COLREGS), and unratified conventions (e.g., arrests, liens, collisions). Uniquely, the Handbook photo-reproduces documents in shipping (e.g., insurance, bills of lading, charter parties) and in admiralty litigation (e.g., claim forms, vessel arrest papers).
