The Palace of Pleasures (Nexus)

The city-state of Estra is thriving port and trading centre. ruled over by a Sultan who finds relief from the pressures of power amidst a selected bevy of intimate Companions. Carria, a mysterious and striking young woman arrives one night aboard a trading ship and rapidly finds herself offered the opportunity of joining the Companions. However, before she can join she has to pass the schooling and selection, run by the Sultan's mistress Jnie. The training is, of course, very rigorous, and discipline is maintained with a firm hand. There are many different uniforms and articles to wear, and there are many strange and elaborate punishments for failure, including both humiliation and pain. Carria, however, has her own agenda. When it comes to fruition, nothing in Estra will be quite the same again.
