A Promise to Remember: The Names Project Book of Letters

From its modest beginnings as a handful of fabric panels, the Quilt--a celebration and loving memorial to those who have died of AIDS--has become an immense community arts project, representing 11 countries, covering eight football fields, and touching thousands throughout the world. This book collects letters submitted to the NAMES Project with each panel. Delayed from November 1991.
