Coastal Defences: Processes, Problems and Solutions

This work provides an alternative view of coastal defenses, rather than the traditional one supplied by pure engineering books. It presents the broad spectrum of methods that engineers use to protect the coastline, with case studies for and against each of the techniques that investigate the sorts of issues that can arise as a result.
