Communication 2000: Interpersonal Communication (Communication 2000)

Text contains 10 workshops highlighting key workplace communication topics, special features, appropriate literature selections, Internet connections and project-based exercises. Interpersonal Communication centers on the importance of building effective relationships in the workplace. Workshops include how to understand workplace relationships, follow and give instructions, give input to others, use listening and nonverbal communication, deal with barriers, negotiate with others, understand the "grapevine," and create effective electronic messages. Multimedia components enhance the impact of the workshops so users can complete a variety of exercises on the computer, watch video footage of people effectively communicating on the job, and use the Internet to conduct further research.
