Horseback Riding in Action (Sports in Action)

This work is intended for ages 6-9. The competitive world of horseback riding starts with caring for horses. Children will learn about the daily care of horses and the basics of horseback riding including equipment, mounting and dismounting, turning, stopping, trotting, and cantering. Other topics cover: practising; preparing for competitions; competing in events such as show jumping; equitation or form and appearance.
