More Reading Comprehension: In Varied Subject Matter, Level 3

Student text with answer key. Reading selections from the fields of social studies, literature and language, combined subjects, philosophy, logic, math, science and the arts. Each selection in this workbooks is on a theme that reappears in each book in the series. For example, Selection 5 in each book is abot "Great Americans"; Selection 14 asks "What Do You Think?" There are also themes and topics within each book. These relate the selectins to one another, show different aspects of a topic, and help you to gain a broader knowledge of a subject. The topics in this book are war, death, outerspace, and unusual things. Each reading selection is preceded by a short introduction and a focus for the reading. It is followed by comprehension questions, objective questions, vocabulary exercises, and a writing assignment. Completion of this book would prepare the student for ACT/ SAT exams.
