Plant Genotyping: The DNA Fingerprinting of Plants

Plant genotyping, or DNA fingerprinting of plants, is a technology that has matured and is poised for widespread practical application. Plant genotype analysis can be used for the identification of plants in commerce, plant breeding and research.
