Wildernes Press Topographic Map Yosemite: The Valley & Surrounding Uplands

Now in its second edition, this 15-minute, 1:62,500-scale topographic map shows all the trails in Yosemite Valley as well as the backcountry to the south, including trails to Glacier Point, Half Dome, Yosemite and Vernal Falls, and Mariposa Grove's giant sequoias. Parts of adjacent quadrangles have been added to include popular trails that would not have been shown otherwise. The backside contains sample trips, tips on backcountry safety, contact numbers, and essential information about the park.

Although the U.S. Geological Survey 15-minute topographic maps were replaced by the 7.5-minute quads, the Wilderness Press 15-minute maps still in print are a good choice for hikers who want all the trail information without carrying all the maps (four 7.5-minute maps are needed to cover the same area as this map). All trails are clearly shown in red.
