Product Description:
When announced in 1948 the Morris Minor created quite a storm of interest. By English standards of the day its design was radical and destined to become a classic. Over the years the body style and engines were refined and an estate or Traveller version proved to be very popular. The 948cc A-series engine replaced the old side-valve Morris engine in 1952 when it was named the Morris Minor 1000; later the 1098cc A-Series engine was used until 1971 when production ceased. This is a book of contemporary road tests, specification and technical data, new model introductions, engine conversions, buying second hand, history. Models include: 918sv, Series II, Estate, Powerplus, 1000 two-door de Luxe. |
