Love and Truth in the Ramayana of Tulsidas

This work explores the many expressions of active love and truth in the lives of Rama and Sita in the Ramayana of Tulasidas. Rama's relationship with the outcaste Guha, the tribal woman Shabari and Vibhishana,the brother of Ravana are treated in detail. His attitude to truth and to the relationship between morality and power are also considered.
