Following the success of the Justice Society of America in the early 1940s, DC Comics introduced a second super-team: The Seven Soldiers of Victory. The team included Green Arrow, The Shining Knight, The Star-Spangled Kid, The Crimson Avenger and The Vigilante, along with sidekicks Wing, Speedy and Stripesy -- heroes whose legacy still shines in the DC Universe today.
