Product Description:
This book is divided into two parts. Part I ‘PAUPER WHO WOULD BE POPE’ is a biography of the 33-day Pope. It is the record of his struggles as an impoverished child, as a revolutionary activist priest, as an outspoken bishop and as a compassionate cardinal. It is the record of his philosophies, and of his hopes, and of his dreams, for mankind. Part II ‘THE VATICAN MURDERS’ is the investigation of his unwitnessed death and the sudden and mysterious deaths of a half-dozen of his closest friends and confidants in the fall of 1978. Many have written about the strange death of John Paul, yet, for some reason, none of the others seemed to think it important that most of the Pope’s closest friends also died of mysterious - some of outright violent - deaths at about the same time.
