I must admit that I was a bit hesitant to attend OWU due to its rank, but I was convinced at the quality of the experience by a man who graduated from OWU in 1976. This man took the time to speak to me about my college search process and ultimately helped me to decide on choosing his alma mater. His name was David Wetherell, and after his OWU experience, he became one of the richest people in America, was named the runner-up as the most influential investor in the Internet economy in 1999, second only to Bill Gates, was New England Entrepreneur of the Year, and one of Wall Street s 25 Smartest Players. An Ohio Wesleyan student can do anything, and it is shown time and time again with alumni like my friend Dave.
