The New Munsell Student Color Set

Albert Munsell s system of color notation has been taught for nearly a century, but
the applications and uses of the system are constantly changing. Long and Luke s text
teaches the importance of a standardized language to communicate color and the
factors affecting how we perceive it. The three dimensions of color hue, value, and
chroma are also described. There is a brief contextual description of other color systems.
This text bridges the gap between the theory and appreciation of color. Munsell®
