Origami3 is a book unique in its approach to the practice of origami, going beyond folding instructions to address the implications and applications of this art. Over the last decade, the practice and art of origami has increasingly become a subject of scholarly inquiry in a number of disciplines, attested to by its appearance as a topic at the 2002 American Association for the Advancement of Science meeting.
