Five Universal Principles of Positive Behavior Support

Dr. Annemieke Golly has identified five universal principles for managing in-class behaviors for children with challenging behaviors: Being Respectful, Modeling Behaviors, Having Clear Expectations, Maintaining Routines and Dealing with Chronic Misbehaviors. She shows you how to implement them in the context of a schoolwide positive behavior support system. In addition, Dr. Golly looks at the two main areas of chronic misbehaviors, attention seeking and escape/avoidance behaviors and shows you how to identify and work with them.
