On The Job

The author became a member of the NYC Transit Police Department in Nov. 1967. He was assigned to District #1, located at 59th Street on the IND and IRT in mid-Manhattan. Although every police officer feels his precinct or district is the best, it was acknowledged that District #1 was the premier district of the Transit Police Department. The author has a knack for telling a story. On The Job consists of a bunch of vignettes about situations that he and his fellow police officers experienced. For those of you who don't know the author, he is a very funny guy. This is not your typical cops and robbers, shoot 'em up stories. There will be times where you'll find yourself laughing out loud. Suffice it to say, do yourself a favor and get this book; you'll be glad that you did.
