Trekking Along the Backbone of the Santa Monica Mountains

This saddle stitched booklet describes the adventure of through hiking the Backbone Trail westbound from Point Mugu State Park along the ridges of the Santa Monica Mountains to Will Rogers State Historic Park. The tread, views, campsites landmarks, canyons, streams, and flora are described as they appeared in the winter of 2003-2004 when the trail was nearing completion.
