EC Picto Fiction Library Complete Box Set (Titles: Terror, Crime, Confesions, Shock) (Set of 4)

After EC's 'clean line' of New Direction comics failed, they started a line of 'adult' magazines hoping to appeal to a new audience. The stories are presented in type-set text and black-and-white pictures. The artists were definitely excited by this 'new form,' which gave them the ability to try new and varied techniques. These pages contain lusciously detailed art, rendered with pen and ink and brush, shaded and embellished with gray tones.
