Free-Space Optics: Propagation and Communication

The history of optical communications, the principles of electromagnetism, and the emission and reception of optical beams are examined in this reference. Problems associated with the propagation of photons, both in the presence and absence of obstacles, and safety confidentiality issues are also discussed.
