Product Description:
Count Zinzendorf was an eighteenth century leader of the German Pietist movement. Born into one of the most noble families in Europe, Zinzendorf had a deep commitment to Christ from his youth.
In 1722, a group of Moravians settled on his estate and established Herrnhut, a spiritual renewal community. From Herrnhut, the Protestant world missions movement was born. With a twenty-four hour daily prayer meeting that lasted one hundred years, the Moravians sent missionaries from one end of the earth to the other. Many recognize Zinzendorf as the "Father of Modern Missions." Both Charles and John Wesley were converted through the influence of the Moravians. |
